Lightning VS. sleep!

BAM!

“ Ha Ha!” Dane laughed.

“ What’s so funny?” Mac asked.

“Someone’s drawing lightning bolts in the sky!” “Hee Hee!” Dane laughed again.

“It’s just lightning, silly” Mac replied.

“ How does lightning form?” Dane asked.

“ Well…… There are pieces of paper with lightning bolts on them and the lightning bolts float right off of the paper!” Mac said.

“ I was right , you were wrong.” Dane teased.

“ But no one draws them.” Mac said. “ Now c’mon, it’s time for bed.” Mac said.

“ But it’s only 2:45 in the morning!” Dane pleaded. “ I’m not going to bed, your not my older brother.”

“ I know that.” Mac said.

“ Then don’t be all, c’mon it’s time for this or lets go we’ll be late!” Dane said. BAM! Another lightning bolt hit a nearby tree.

“ Do you want to get some sleep or what?” Mac asked.

“NO!” Dane shot back. While Mac ran to his bedroom Dane was thinking: how do lightning bolts form? He thought. Is Zeus throwing lightning bolts? He thought and thought, but he couldn’t find the right answer. Dane got tired of thinking and tried to go to sleep. Soon, Mac came down the steps.

“ What time is it?” He wondered out loud.

“ 7:25, why?”

“Oh nothing.” Dane replied.

“ Did you get any sleep?” Mac asked.

“ No.” Dane answered.” I couldn’t find out how lightning bolts form.”
